Description

The war memorial at the south end of Steyne Gardens is made of polished granite. It features a grey plinth with a sans-serif inscription dedicated to those who died in the South African War from 1899 to 1902. Above the plinth, there is a pedestal supporting a pink obelisk that rises above a cornice.
