Description

This is an early 19th century pair of terrace houses located in Alfred Place. They are two storeys high and have a stucco facade with a steep slate roof. Number 23 retains sash windows, while the window in number 25 has been altered to a casement. Plain, straight hoods shelter the ground and first-floor windows of number 23. The right-hand doorways are round-headed with semi-circular lights, and a shallow porch is shaped like an ogee arch. Nos. 21 to 27 (odd) form a group.
