Description
These are a pair of houses, likely dating from the 1830s. They are two storeys high and have a stucco facade. Originally symmetrical, the ground floor is now divided into two shops, with the left-hand shop occupying approximately two-thirds of the width and the right-hand shop one-third. There are three sash windows, with glazing bars, the central one being blind. Pilasters are located at either end of the facade, but are truncated by the modern shopfronts, with the right-hand pilaster being slightly narrower. A cornice and parapet run along the top of the building. Numbers 22 to 26, Brighton Road form a group, with number 26 having local interest only.
