Description

Nos 25 and 27 Alfred Place are early 19th-century terrace cottages, smaller than their neighbors at Nos 21 and 23, with No 27 being the end of the row. The cottages are two storeys high with an attic and have a stucco front. They feature a steep slate roof adorned with decorative tile cresting. Each cottage has one sash window and a dormer that abut to form one unit, which is of later date. The right-hand doors are accompanied by shallow porches designed in the form of ogee arches. Nos 21 to 27 (odd) are recognized as a group.
