Description

Nos 12 to 16 Orchard Place are early 19th-century terraced cottages. They are constructed of nodular flint with brick dressings and chimneys, topped with pitched slate roofs. The buildings are two storeys high and feature a brick modillion eaves cornice. Each cottage has a range of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The doors of Nos 14 and 16 have wooden surrounds with panelled reveals, incised line decoration on the pilasters and frieze, and triangular pediments. These cottages are part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 25.
