Description
The Victory Public House is an early 19th-century building located on Bond Street. It is constructed from beach flint with brick dressings and is whitewashed. The building features a hipped slate roof and brick chimneys.
It stands two storeys tall and has a brick modillion eaves cornice. There are two windows on each floor, with the first-floor windows having casements with glazing bars, while the ground floor windows are modern. There is one doorway that has a small gabled hood above it.
To the west of the main building, there is a single-storey outhouse that is connected to the main block by a brick wall. This outhouse is also made of beach flint with brick dressings and has a pitched slate roof with a weatherboarded gable end. The walls and weatherboarding of the outhouse are whitewashed, and it has one door leading into it, as well as another door in the wall.
The Victory Public House is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 23 (odd) and Nos 2 to 24 (even) on King Street, as well as Nos 24 to 30 (even).
