Description
This is an early 19th-century pair of terraced cottages located on the east side of Mount Pleasant. The cottages are constructed of beach flint with red brick dressings incorporating grey brick headers. They have brick chimneys and pitched tile roofs. Each cottage is two storeys high and contains a single range of segment-headed casement windows with glazing bars; the windows of No. 23 are fitted with lead. Each cottage has a front door with a gable, and No. 23’s gable is supported by wooden consoles. Nos. 1 to 23 (odd numbers) and the surrounding posts form a distinct group.
