Description

Nos. 58-60 Maryport Street are a pair of late Georgian cottages. They are rendered and painted, featuring a shallow-pitched slate roof with off-ridge brick end stacks, which are shared with the hotel at number 60. Each cottage originally had a single window range of horned sashes, consisting of four panes over eight, set in reveals with shallow sills, although number 60 now has modern windows. The cottages have round-arched doorways that are paired at the center, with 20th-century part-glazed doors. There is a plinth at the base of the cottages.
