Description

46 Maryport Street is a house that is paired with number 1 Old Market Street, which is listed separately and attached on each side. The building is rendered and painted, featuring a slate roof with eaves that overlap with number 48 to the left and an end stack. It has a two-window range of 12-pane horned sashes with narrow glazing bars set in reveals. The doorway is located on the right and has a 6-panelled door, a divided overlight, and a bracketed hood. This house is continuous with the similar two-window range on the side elevation of 1 Old Market Street, which has a hipped roof on the right side. The Maryport Street frontage is enhanced by railings and a gate with arrow-head finials on a stone kerb. The rear of the building has UPVC windows.
