Description

20 Maryport Street is a pair of Georgian fronted cottages, attached on one side. They are rendered and painted, with visible signs of scoring on the side. The cottages have a slate roof with brick end stacks, which have a shallower pitch compared to the adjacent No 24. Each cottage features a single window range with a blind central window above the paired doorways. The doorways have upper sliding sashes and recessed part-glazed doors from the 20th century, but they are set in original surrounds. On the ground floor, No 20 has a shallow canted bay with a pitched roof and a 6-pane horned sash window, while No 22 has a 12-paned horned sash window.
