Description

This is a pair of Georgian fronted cottages attached to one side. The cottages are rendered and painted, with signs of scoring visible on the side. They have a slate roof and brick end stacks, which are noticeably of a shallower pitch than the adjacent building at No. 24. Each cottage has a single window range, featuring a blind central window positioned above the paired doorways. The windows have upper sliding sashes set within original surrounds, and the doorways have recessed, part-glazed doors dating to the 20th century. On the ground floor, No. 20 has a shallow canted bay with a pitched roof and a six-pane horned sash window. No. 22 features a twelve-paned horned sash window.
