Description

This is a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th or early 19th century, located on Chipstead Lane. Each cottage is two storeys high and has a single window. They have tiled roofs, with a hipped roof profile on the right-hand side. The facades are rendered and feature incised lines. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set in painted reveals. The cottages have plain doors. Nos. 40 to 62 (even numbers) form a group.
