The building is of irregular design, and features a low-pitched, hipped roof covered in tiles. The exterior is red brick, accentuated by two horizontal bands of blue headers. The sash windows, which have lost their original glazing bars, are set within exposed moulded frames. The front features square pilasters and a bracketed hood above the doorway, surmounted by a sun assurance sign. Wrought iron area railings are present.
