Description

22 and 24 Worthing Road are a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are two storeys tall with a basement, constructed of painted brick and featuring a projecting plinth. The cottages have a tiled roof and three windows, all of which are sash windows with intact glazing bars. The ground-floor windows have shutters, and there are two doors, both recessed and accessed by three steps, with hoods supported on brackets above them. In the basement, there are two segmental-headed windows. These cottages, along with the Free Christian Church and the adjacent properties numbered 20 to 28 (even), form a cohesive group.
