Description
The wrought iron gates and railings at Ynys Hafod and Min Yr Afon date from the 19th century. The railings feature spear-head finials and urn finials on the stanchions, which have scrolled supports, all set on a low stone wall. The gateway is located roughly at the center of the range, positioned to the right of the Ynys Hafod house. The lamp-arch includes orb finials and a tall swept gate adorned with scrolls and additional spikes on the curved middle rail. There is a narrow iron gate at the end on the right and an old wooden gate inserted into the railing range on the left.
