Description
Wellesley House and Wellesley Coach House is a townhouse featuring both Georgian and Victorian architectural elements. The building, which was originally a service range on the left that has been converted into a separate dwelling, is stucco-rendered with a slate roof that has swept eaves and narrow brick stacks located at the right end and at the junction between the two dwellings. There is a quoin strip on the right side of the building. It stands two storeys tall with a total of four windows. Wellesley House features two later canted full-height bays on the sides, which have large-pane sash windows, and a central earlier 12-pane sash window. The entrance has a pedimented doorcase with pilasters and a six-panel part-glazed door. To the left, Wellesley Coach House has a single window front range with 12-pane sashes and a doorway on the left. The building is set on a deep stone plinth. Extending across the frontage and to the side are iron railings with spoon and urn finials on a low kerb, which include double gates leading to the main entrance.
