Description
20 New Market Street is a former coach-house and stable range that has been converted into a dwelling. The building features roughcast-rendered and painted walls, with a shallow-pitched slate roof that has sprocketed eaves. It has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys tall, being three bays wide. The central bay projects and is gabled, with a platband and plinth. The windows are casement style, all with 20th-century glazing, including single triple-lights in the centre on each floor and narrow flanking lights on the ground floor. The building also has a deep painted stone plinth, and all glazing at the rear is from the 20th century.
