Description
This is a house with a Georgian facade, likely dating to the 18th century. The front is roughcast-rendered and painted, with a slate roof hidden behind a parapet featuring narrow stone coping and raised verges. A small, rendered stack is located at the left end. The two-storey front has a three-window arrangement of 12-pane sash windows set in reveals, with the central window being blind. A doorway on the right is topped by a shallow, bracketed hood and contains a recessed, panelled, and partly glazed door. A plinth runs along the base. To the left is a lower, single-storey wing with a loft, featuring a cobbled forecourt and boarded double doors. A rendered side wall incorporating spikes extends from the corner and connects to a low, wide wall across the frontage, supporting iron railings with fleur-de-lys and urn finials, partially embedded in a hedge. A scrolled lamp arch is present at the entrance on the right. The interior is believed to retain an early fireplace with a stone lintel.
