Description
Ty'n-y-ffynnon is a mountain farmhouse constructed from limewashed stone, topped with a stone-tiled roof that features three half-dormers at the front. The building has a corniced brick ridge and end stacks. Most of the casement windows have small panes and stone sills. The ground floor has a two-window range and a boarded door located at the end on the right. At the rear, there is a catslide roof over an outshut, which leads to a curtailed roof on the two-storey end bay to the right; this bay includes a 16-pane casement window on the first floor and a boarded door below. At the front, there is a rectangular rubble wall with a wicket gate that creates a small courtyard. To the right, there is a small barn bay that is stepped down, featuring a doorway and a ventilation slit.
