Description
Hall's Bridge is a railway viaduct that spans the River Ebbw and the Western Valleys Railway Line. It is constructed as a plate girder bridge, supported by eight high, wide, and narrow piers made of snecked rock-faced stone. These piers extend from a deep railway cutting on the west to the continuation of the line at canal level on the east, with the eastern pier being a replacement likely due to road construction. The stone features dressed arises, and many of the stones are drilled and fixed to a core. The bridge has a single track deck made of riveted metal plates, supported by cross-braced structures beneath. The open parapet consists of L-shaped uprights and three rows of tubular bars, with an altered eastern bay.
