Description

Farmhouse, rubble stone, whitewashed to front, with close-eaved slate roof with coped gables and one small brick W end stack. One and a half storeys. Two coped eaves-breaking dormers formerly with recessed chamfered stone mullion windows, one smaller to left with hoodmould and lintel surviving over C20 casement pair, one larger to centre with metal 8-pane window in frame of 3-light mullion window, no hoodmould. Single light under eaves to right. Ground floor has C20 metal 2-light window left in frame of original 3-light mullion window, triple casement left of centre in frame of former 3-light mullion window then large C19 or early C20 enclosed gabled porch with W side door and S window. C20 triple casement to right in frame of original 3-light mullion window. Lower windows have rough dripstones, those to left and centre cemented over. Rubble stone W end wall has small loft light and ground floor blocked 2-light stone mullion window. Right end has attached outbuilding with small E stack and asbestos sheet roof. One C20 front window. Rear of house has an original centre projecting chimney gable with tall stone stack. Added rubble stone gable to left projects further with narrow W side door and casement pair over.
