Description
The Cartshed Range at Bryn Ffynnon is a lofted cartshed built from rubble stone and red brick. It features a slate roof with close eaves and coped gables. The front has two tall, flattened-arched entries with red brick surrounds and a dividing pier. The surrounds are rebated for doors. The right arch includes an inserted iron beam that supports a lowered floor, with red-brick infill above. There is a small square loft light located under the eaves at the center. On the left end, a single flight of stone steps leads up to a loft door, which is set in a stone porch that has a collapsed slate roof. The porch's side wall is made of neatly squared stone, and the gable is coped. Adjacent to the loft steps on the left is a low outbuilding, possibly an outside kitchen, which has a corrugated iron roof and a brick stack on the left end. This outbuilding features one door positioned to the right of center, topped with a brick cambered head.
