Description
Bryn Ffynnon is a farmhouse constructed with colourwashed roughcast and rubble stone end walls. It features a low-pitched slate roof with coped gables and kneelers. The building has stone end stacks, with the right end stack showcasing a massive external chimneybreast. It appears to be three storeys and double-fronted, although the centre is heavily covered in ivy, obscuring any windows.
There are two triple casements located under the eaves of the attic, and on both the first and ground floors, there are two 16-pane sash windows, each with sandstone lintels. The entrance features a central 4-panel door with an overlight and a stone shelf above it. To the right of the door, there is an eroded plaque.
At the rear, there is a triple casement with a cambered head on both the ground and first floors to the right, along with a northeast rear wing to the left that is lower and two storeys high. This wing has a coped north gable and a stone north end stack that has been raised in brick. The west side of the building has one window on each floor, with a 16-pane sash above and a lower window that is boarded over. There is a door to the right, and the east side of the rear has a similar 16-pane sash window on the first floor.
