Description
The barn and stable range at Bryn Ffynnon is an outbuilding constructed from rubble stone, topped with a slate close-eaved roof. The south elevation is tall and lofted, with the left side appearing higher due to the slope of the ground. The first floor features two large, brick-lined circular openings positioned to the left and right of the center, with another similar opening set slightly lower on the left side. There is also a loft door on the right, accessible by timber stairs.
On the ground floor, the openings have red brick cambered heads and are not aligned with the loft openings. There is a small vent loop and a door to the left, along with a small window, which may have been inserted, to the left of center. To the right of center, there is a group of window-door-window openings that are significantly higher than those on the left, again due to the slope. A single window is located to the extreme right, beneath the loft stairs.
Attached to the left end of the building, and set back, is a low pair of pig-sties with a single-pitch slate roof, and in front of them is a walled yard now covered by a tin roof.
