Description

The Bier House at the Church of St Garmon is a structure made of rubble stone, featuring a low-pitched slate roof that has close eaves. The south end wall facing the churchyard includes a cambered timber lintel above boarded double doors. The walls are windowless and the western side is earth embanked. On the eastern side, there is one of a pair of stone gatepiers that date from around 1870, marking the entry to the churchyard. Additionally, there is a pair of iron gates adorned with scrollwork and dog-bars.
