Description
This is a small rectangular farm range at Pen-y-groes, constructed from limewashed stone rubble and topped with a stone tile roof that features overhanging eaves. On the left side, there is a large doorway with a timber lintel, while a narrower doorway on the right has been blocked and replaced by a later cambered-headed doorway at the far right. A small triangular ventilator is located in the gable end, and there is a buttress to the left of the main doorway.
To the right, there is a cowshed with a hayloft above it. The barn unit on the left is open to the roof, which is supported by pegged A-frame trusses and features three rows of trenched purlins, with a flag floor.
