Description

Brick wall with railings and gates extends from the rear of the hospital in Penrhiw Avenue, along the frontage, with a short return of stone to N; the continuation of the wall to NE, E and S in stone is not included. Brick wall has saddleback coping, railings with Art Nouveau motifs to the stanchions and piers with terracotta cushion caps. 3 pairs of high wrought iron gates with Art Nouveau motifs, at each front corner and one to side road entrance; hung between tall brick piers with shallow terracotta caps originally enriched with ballflower ornament, not intact; also single gates to side and front.
