Description

Lock Chambers 31 and 32 of the Glamorganshire Canal consist of two adjoining lock chambers with rendered walls and flat copings made of hammer-dressed stone. Although the gates are missing, the recesses that once held them feature coursed hammer-dressed stone walls, with part of the northern end of the upper lock replaced in brick. At the junction of the two locks, there is a wall made of thin coursed rubble stone on the eastern side, which may have been intended to support a bridge. On the western side, there is a later brick abutment.
