Description

The Dock Lock on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal is a lock chamber built from rubble, featuring tooled sandstone copings. To the east, there is a rebate where a lock gate has been removed, along with splayed retaining walls extending for about 10 meters. On the south side, there is a deep overflow ditch that includes a brick-headed drain to the east. At the western end, there is a rubble weir, also with splayed retaining walls beyond it.
