Description
Usk House at Raglan Barracks is a symmetrical, two-storey building with a three-bay front, constructed from coursed and carefully cut local rubble. It features a 'sparrow-picked' plinth and freestone dressings that reflect the style of the original phase of building. The roof is slate with wide boarded eaves, although the chimney stacks have been removed. The front includes six and twelve-pane sash windows, along with a modern panelled door. The gable ends are treated with a pediment design. At the rear, there are modern windows and tall stone gate piers.
