Description
The Guard Room beside the main entrance of Raglan Barracks is a single-storey building constructed from coursed rubble, featuring a plinth, rock-faced quoins, and freestone dressings around the window and door openings. It has a slate roof that is hipped at the front (southwest) end, which covers an open porch supported by iron columns. There is a rendered brick chimney stack located at the center of the roof. The building includes 12-pane sash windows, one of which is missing a horizontal glazing bar, and there is a boarded door entrance at the front that has a 3-pane overlight above it.
