Territorial Army Former Veterinary Hospital, Raglan Barracks

The Territorial Army Former Veterinary Hospital at Raglan Barracks is a single-storey building located at the eastern corner of the barrack square. It is constructed of coursed red sandstone with a rock-faced treatment, and features grey limestone at the left end, along with freestone dressings. The building has slate roofs and wide boarded eaves. On one side, there are alternating openings of boarded doors, some with overlights and some without, as well as small pane pivot windows. The rear left corner is rounded to allow horses to be taken around from the main entrance. At the northeast end, there is a separate large stable designed for four horses.

Inside, the floors are cobbled. One stable retains a beam for hanging a sling for particularly sick horses, while another stable features a high manger. The separate large stable includes an iron manger along the front wall and cast-iron columns sourced from a Belfast foundry.
