Description
Oz Bar is a three-storey corner building finished in stucco. It features cornices and a parapet, topped by a steeply-pitched hipped slate roof with a tall stack on the left side. The St Mary Street façade has two pairs of round-headed sash windows with balustrades on the second floor, and a relief of a figure with a harp between them. Above the first floor, there is a modillion cornice and frieze, while the ground and first floors are rusticated. The first floor has paired rectangular-headed transomed and mullioned windows, and the ground floor features four arcaded round-headed windows along with a round-headed doorway topped by a triangular pediment above the ground floor entablature at the north end. The return along Guildhall Place has less regular openings but maintains a similar style, with stuccoed stacks.
