Description
The East Boundary Wall of St Donats Castle is a Grade II listed structure. It consists of two sections that are divided by the main east gate. The wall extends from near the north gate to the East Lodge, and from the east gate to the corner on the Llantwit Major road, where it turns south along the edge of the eastern deer park. Constructed from roughly coursed local lias limestone, the wall stands approximately 2.25 meters high, with some sections featuring a Victorian cock-and-hen coping. There is also some evidence of rebuilding and repair throughout the structure.
