Description

This is an impressive late Victorian monument located in the churchyard of Croes-y-Parc chapel. It features a granite shaft set on a rock-faced plinth. The monument has a recessed inscription panel that displays a long Welsh inscription made with applied leaded letters, and a Celtic knot design at the base. The top of the monument has a circular head that is framed with cable moulding, which encloses a copper roundel depicting a biblical scene. The rear of the monument is blank.
