Description
The garden building is a two-storey structure with a central unit that is flanked by lower wings. It is constructed of random masonry and features corbelled, battlemented parapets. Tall pilasters on either side of the high central unit create the appearance of clasping buttresses. There is a blocked central entrance topped with a round brick-arched head, with single-light round-arched window openings on either side, although the right one is obscured by vegetation. Above the front door, there is a blocked roundel. The upper storey has similar aligned windows. The fronts of the flanking wings contain narrow central lancets. The central unit extends into a bank that rises to the south and is one storey high. Additionally, there is a round arched opening on the east side. Access was not available at the time of inspection in December 1997.
