Description
The boundary wall and entrance gates to the south of Seamouth Lodge are constructed from rubble stone and feature a high saddleback coping, although some sections have been replaced with concrete. The wall extends southward and then curves to the southeast. The Nant-y-Durfol stream exits the park from the east and flows into a culvert integrated into the wall. This culvert has a segmental arched head made of voussoirs. Above the culvert, there is a cut-in opening with red brick jambs and an iron lintel. To the north, there is a later V-shaped opening for a stile, with steps on either side.
At the northern end of the wall, there are two gates: one for vehicles and one for pedestrians. Both gates are made of wood and feature pierced trefoiled lancets above the mid-rail and a row of quatrefoils below. The main gate has six lancets and displays a coat of arms on its exterior side, while the pedestrian gate has three lancets. To the south side of the main gate and situated between the two gates are octagonal stone piers topped with swept pyramidal caps and finials. To the north, there is a matching half octagonal pier that is built onto the lodge.
