Description
The Fox and Hounds Public House is a two-storey building with roughcast and painted stonework, topped with a slate roof. It features two main bays, with a third bay located further west beyond the central axial stack. The building has boarded doors and four-paned sash windows, while the eastern bay on the first floor includes a twelve-paned sash window. The western bay has a two-paned sash window on the ground floor and an additional door. The upper windows are adorned with rendered and painted architraves and sit on a narrow painted sill band. The stacks are also roughcast and painted.
Inside, the layout likely included a hall and an inner room at the eastern end, with a service room contemporary to the main stack located to the west. It appears that the ceiling throughout has been raised, and a partition to the left of the entrance passage has been removed.
