The lodge has a thatched roof with wide eaves and a group of three large stone chimneys with diagonally-set stacks.

The entrance includes a shallow gabled porch with a Tudor-arched doorway, which has a hoodmould with a quatrefoil above it. To the left of the porch, there is a splayed bay window, and to the right, a 2-light window. The left gable displays a fretted bargeboard and a 2-light window with a quatrefoil above. At the rear, there is a thatched wing.
