Description
The former farmhouse at Singleton Farm is a Tudor-style, two-storey building featuring gabled roofs and constructed from randomly coursed rubble masonry. It has a slate roof and stone chimney stacks at the gable ends. The south-facing front has three bays and a plinth, with the central bay advanced and featuring a pointed arch entrance that is partly infilled with a narrower boarded front door. The windows are mullioned, with four-centred headed lights and hoodmoulds; there are two-light windows on the first floor and three-light windows below, which are said to have been re-used from Plas House in Swansea. At either end of the farmhouse, there are single-storey ranges, with the right side being larger and having broad kneelers supporting a tall gable. This side also features a broad square-headed entrance that contains a Tudor-arched boarded door, with a small two-light window above it. At the centre rear, there is a cross range that includes some diamond-paned glazing.
