Description
Boating Pool Lodge in Singleton Park is a one-and-a-half storey building featuring a narrow central block with gabled crosswings. It is constructed of brown rubble with a tiled roof and stone chimneys. At the time of inspection, the windows were boarded up.
The lodge has two diagonally-set stone chimney stacks, and the square chimney on the northwest front has two asymmetrical gables, each with a small window on the first floor. The left gable features a broader ground floor window, while the right gable has a splayed bay window, with an additional window located between the gables. There is a store with a monopitch roof to the north.
To the south, there is an open gabled porch with trellis on the sides, an arched porch doorway, and an arched entrance doorway with a panelled door. There is also a window to the left of the porch. To the east, the south gable has a square bay window with a monopitch roof, while the north gable is overgrown with ivy. Additionally, there is modern brick infill between the gables.
