Description

The barn at Wern Farm is a 19th-century structure built from whitewashed rubble stone and topped with a Welsh slate roof featuring ridge tiles. It has a long, narrow rectangular shape, with a cowhouse located at the west end and a barn extending beyond it. The gable end includes a small window for the cowhouse, a taking-in door for the hayloft above, and a small opening in the gable. On the south elevation, there are two doors leading to the cowhouse and two large barn doors further along. The interior was not inspected during the resurvey in December 1996.
