Description
The barn at Twyn-gwyn Farm is a whitewashed rubble stone structure dating from the 18th century. It features a stone slate roof on the east slope and corrugated metal on the west slope. The barn has a central entrance with a small projecting roof and includes a modern extension. To the right of the entrance, there is a small lean-to cowshed with a Welsh slate roof. At the north end, there is a hay loft with a taking-in door at the gable and a secondary door below. The roof is steeply pitched. The west front, which faces the stock-yard, has undergone more alterations. Although the interior was not inspected, the steep roof slope and the original covering on one slope suggest that the original roof structure is still intact.
