Description
The building is a barn with an attached cartshed located at Twyn Farm. It dates from an unspecified period and is constructed from rubble stone with an asbestos sheet roof. The barn is a large structure featuring full-height double doors with a timber lintel positioned to the left of center, along with two loops on the same side. The right side of the barn is taller due to the sloping ground, and it has one loop set low.
At the right end, there is a small single-storey outbuilding with a slate roof. The cartshed, which has an open front, is oriented at right angles to the left end of the barn and connects the barn to the house. The roof of the cartshed is covered with red Bridgwater tiles. The rear of the barn features a roof of stone tiles and a gabled porch.
Inside, the barn has five tie-beam and collar trusses, although two of the collars are missing.
