Description

20 Bethel Square is a shop with living accommodation above, dating from the 18th century. The building is finished in stucco and features a moulded band above the ground floor. It has a slate roof with eaves coving. The front is three storeys high and has three windows. The windows have plain reveals, with square 6-pane sashes on the top floor and 12-pane sashes on the first floor. The ground floor has a modern shopfront.

Inside, the interior has been significantly altered, but it still retains a good earlier 18th-century staircase at the rear, along with original doors and doorcases leading to the staircase hall.
