Description
Slwch Farmhouse is a two-storey house featuring a southern range with a three-window entrance front that is pebbledashed. It has a slate hipped roof with flanking stacks and projecting wooden eaves. The original sash windows, which were four panes wide and set in reveals, have been replaced with 20th-century glazing. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door topped by a fanlight with four panes, and there is a gabled open porch. The forecourt is enclosed with iron railings on a dwarf wall, and there are gates at the left end and opposite the entrance to the house. At the rear, there is a two-storey, three-window lean-to with a separate roof that spans the entire width of the house. The rear wall of the lean-to is made of colourwashed stone rubble and features a lean-to porch. To the right (northeast) of the house, there is a lower two-storey wing with a slate roof and two dormers set across the eaves.
