Description
Camden Court is a former college built in the Tudorbethan style. The building features brown stone with bathstone dressings and has a symmetrical front dominated by a tall central tower. This tower rises five storeys and is topped with a pyramidal roof that includes a weather vane and buttresses. The entrance is marked by a Tudor-headed doorway.
On either side of the central tower, there are recessed two-storey blocks with two windows and attics, each featuring gabled dormers. Further out, there are advanced gabled blocks that include two-storey splayed bay windows with panelled parapets. Above these bay windows, there are four-light windows on the second floor and round windows in the attics. Beyond the gabled blocks, there is a lower single-window block that also has two storeys and an attic with a gabled dormer. At each end of the building, there is a gabled block that features a pointed attic window.
