Description

This is a stone bridge featuring two arches, located southwest of Toll Gate Cottage. The bridge has a wide southern elliptical arch that spans the canal, with a towpath situated beneath the southern side of this arch. The smaller northern arch crosses the former track of the Hay Railway. The bridge is adorned with a curved parapet that has simple stone coping, which continues over the northern arch. On the eastern side, the bridge is numbered 165. The inner parapet wall on the western side displays an iron plate from the Great Western Railway, indicating weight limits and addressed to "drivers and owners of locomotives or other persons in charge of the same."
