Description

89 The Watton is a two-storey building with a three-window stucco front, built in the 19th century. The end pilasters feature capitals adorned with egg and dart ornamentation. It has a slate roof with brick stacks at both ends of the main block.

The buildings at 88 and 89 are symmetrical in design. The central bay projects slightly forward and includes a four-pane sash window on the first floor, a narrow sill band, and a deep segmental-headed arch leading to a passage on the ground floor. The left bay features a large six-pane sash window on the first floor, while the ground floor has a modern shop front. The right bay has modern paired sashes on the first floor and a showroom below.
