Description
Nos. 88 and 89 The Watton are a two-storey, three-window building with a stucco facade. The ends feature pilasters with capitals decorated with egg and dart ornamentation. The roof is slate, with brick stacks at each end of the main block.
Nos. 88 and 89 are symmetrical in design. The central bay projects slightly forward, featuring a four-pane sash window on the first floor. Below it is a narrow sill band and a deep, segmental-headed arch providing access through the ground floor. The left-hand bay has a large six-pane sash window on the first floor, and a modern shop front below. The right-hand bay incorporates modern paired sash windows on the first floor and a showroom on the ground floor.
